Petek Notes ("Petek", "we", "our") is a personal productivity app for managing notes. This policy covers both the web app at petek.app and the Petek Notes Chrome extension.

Data We Collect

• Account information: Your email address and name from Google sign-in, used solely for authentication.
• Notes and labels: The content you create within Petek, stored in our database so you can access it across devices.

How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate you and provide access to your account.
• To store and sync your notes across the web app and Chrome extension.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not track your browsing history or activity.
• We do not collect analytics or usage telemetry.
• We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking.
• We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties.

Chrome Extension

The Petek Notes Chrome extension uses the following permissions:

• sidePanel: To display your notes in Chrome's side panel.
• identity: To sign you in with your Google account.
• storage: To keep you signed in between browser sessions.
• scripting + host permission (petek.app): To detect your existing session on petek.app so you don't need to sign in twice.

The extension communicates only with Supabase (our database provider) to read and write your notes. No data is sent to any other third party.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure with row-level security, ensuring you can only access your own data.

Data Deletion

You can delete your notes at any time within the app. To delete your account entirely, contact us at the email below.
